Student Chapters

Department of Instrumentation is member of ISOI(Instrumentation Society of India),ISA(Instrumentation Society of Automation) and IEI(Institution of Engineers India). Student chapters provide local forum for its members to meet and exchange their views on technical,educational,professional or other areas of interests.

Magazines

Department of Instrumentation publishes technical as well as non-technical magazines every year. Namely Instech and Abhitarang; In which students exchange their views on projects, seminars or simply poems and articles they like

Student Welfare clubs

There are three student welfare clubs under department of instrumentation namely ITC(Instrumentation Technical Club),ISC(Instrumentation Student Club),ICC(Instrumentation Cultural Club). Welfare clubs under the Department of Instrumentation arrange different technical and non-technical events. Welfare club also hone the abilities of leadership, management, conversation skill, personal development in students

ISOI(Instrument society of India)

Department of Instrumentation is member of ISOI. ISOI was established in year 1970, with head-quarter at Indian Institute of science, Banglore. It strives to act as link between academic institutions and the instrumentation industry, by organising several programs. It also conducts programs for students and working professionals in the form of short-term courses, symposia and topical reviews.

IEI(Institution of Engineers India)

Department of Instrumentation is member of IEI. IEI is national organisation for engineers in India. IEI has over 0.5 million members from 15 engineering disciplines in 99 centers or chapters in India and overseas; it is the largest multi-disciplinary engineering professional society in engineering and technology world. It is currently head-quartered in Kolkata.

ISA(International Society of Automation)

Department of Instrumentation is member of ISA. ISA is a non-profit technical society for engineers, technicians, businesspeople, educators and students, who work, study or are interested in Industrial Automation. ISA is one of the foremost professional organization in the world for setting standards and educating industry professionals in Automation

Magazines

Department of Instrumentation publish yearly magazines. In which students share their innovative ideas, their project work, research papers and also Poems, articles under two magazines namely Instech & Abhitarang

Instech

Instech is technical journal of Instrumentation & control Engineering Department which deals with technical ideas, projects, seminars given by students

Abhitarang

Abhitarang is non-technical magazine of Instrumentation & control Engineering Department which deals with non-technical views like poems, articles, arts of students

ITC(Instrumentation Technical Club)

ITC organizes technical events in Department of Instrumentation like Visvesvara (On the occasion of Engineer's day & Birthday of ), Innovita(National Project Competition) & publish yearly technical magazine Instech.

ISC(Instrumentation Students Club)

ISC provides counselling, placement & personal guidances, Soft skill workshops & Seminars under the Department of Instrumentation ISC publish yearly non-technical magazine Abhitarang.
